La Vida Boquete: Cuatro Ondas, Cuatro Generaciones is an ambitious documentary project by Boqueteños to honor Boquete’s rich history and vibrant heritage. The documentary seeks to uncover and celebrate the stories of four generations of families and individuals whose vision, resilience, and actions have shaped Boquete, Panama into the unique and beloved community it is today.

Through heartfelt interviews, rare photographs, and treasured documents, La Vida Boquete will bring to life the enduring legacy of the people who laid the foundation of this extraordinary town. Interviews are already being conducted but we will continue to reach out to long-time residents and descendants of founding families to share their stories and collect photos, videos, and historical records that showcase Boquete’s fascinating past. In addition to the feature-length documentary, our website will act as an archive for all the documents, photos, and videos collected during the documentary’s making. While the primary focus will initially be the founding families and their descendants, as time goes on, we expect to include the stories and experiences of the many expatriates from all over the world who came to share the joy of living in Boquete.
